A couple months ago I had the amazing opportunity to do a bridal editorial shoot for the national women’s fashion magazine, Gladys. I’ll speak more about this shoot soon, as the issue with my image has just been released!
At that photoshoot I had the opportunity to use some accessories from some talented designers. One of these designers was Dana Gelenter, of Dana-Bands, a hair accessory designer. She had some lovely bridal pieces we used, but her designs covered more than just bridal. In fact, some of her more fun and funky designs have been featured on such Style Network shows as Wicked Fit and Jerseylicious.
When Dana contacted me about working together with stylist Lindsey Coco of Coco’s Closets to create a shoot or two to create images for an upcoming Look Book for her to bring to buyers, I was thrilled! I immediately contacted the super Sara Faella, Artist, Designer Stylist to do Hair and Makeup. I also contacted one of my favorite models, Stacie, and finally got a chance to work with Caroline Reddy, a gorgeous model with a high fashion look. I also was finally able to work with two other models from The Beauty Within Model Management, Sydney and Shayla. I also secured two locations for the shoots, which I felt would reflect the two different feels to the designer’s work. I would use Downtown Providence to showcase her fun and funky designs, while the beach in Westerly RI would be a perfect compliment for her light, romantic pieces.
It was a long two days, but it was so worth it, as my work will now be seen by buyers in New York, and that is an honor. Thank you Dana for this opportunity, and thanks to my entire team who rocked this shoot out!
