This Lake Pearl Wrentham Wedding was surely a highlight of the season!
I met the beautiful bride last year, at the annual bridal show at Quidnessett Country Club. She was with her friend, whom I had known for years, as a model and makeup artist. We had a lovely conversation, and was thrilled to be contacted to meet up and discuss working with her and her fiancé. On a snowy day, we met in Westerly, chatted about her venue, and ideas for the wedding, and I could not wait to see if we would get a chance to work together! Shortly later, I got the welcome news that they wanted me as their photographer, and I couldn’t have been more excited!
You may remember their fun city-to-sea engagement session in Westerly, HERE. We had such a blast, and I could not wait for their wedding day at Lake Pearl Wrentham! I learned how excited she was about the venue, the florals, and the day.
The day of the wedding couldn’t have been more perfect. There was sufficient sunshine, but accented by some beautiful clouds throughout the day. The ceremony area is right by the water, and the floral design team created a fantastic display, a focal point for the couple to get married under. Their friends and family began to gather, as the bride finished getting ready in one of the most beautiful lace dresses I’ve seen. It was perfect! As friends and family took their seats, it was time for the bride and groom to exchange vows. The ceremony was lovely, and you could feel the love, both between the couple, and from their loved ones.
After the ceremony, we used the beautiful ceremony area and beachfront for our formal portraits, then moved on to the tented area for the reception. There we were met by a beautifully draped white tent with chandeliers and a continuation of the lovely purple hues that were flowing through the wedding decor for the day.
As the reception began with a beautiful first dance, it filled the rest of the day with lovely speeches, fun dances, and lots and lots of love! All punctuated by music from DJ Valentina.
We ended the day at sunset, with a walk down to the water again, and a gorgeous final shot on the pier.
