Ive been lucky over the past few years, to meet some amazing people in the wedding industry. I feel even more fortunate when asked to photograph them! I had the pleasure last month of photographing the stunning backyard wedding of one of my favorite people! Libby and her partner Jenise are the owners and designers at Rustic Roots Design. We’ve worked together on a recent shoot inspired by the 2016 Pantone colors of the year, seen HERE. When Libby asked me to be there to photograph her wedding, I knew it was going to be absolutely gorgeous. And yes it was!

When I arrived, I was greeted by a path of hearts, and a gorgeous display on the front steps. You follow the path into the backyard, and it was just stunning. There were custom corn hole boards, and an array of different tables, teeming with floral displays and color. Everywhere you looked, there was beauty. It was like walking into a secret garden, and it was absolutely the perfect backdrop for the wedding. And kudos to both of them, and everyone who helped. they did so much work to get the backyard ready, and their hard work truly paid off.

The ceremony area was so fun, with a backdrop of the hearts again, and a beautiful arbor. The seating was so eclectic and fun!

Just as the ceremony started, it started to pour. So everyone tried their best to squeeze under a little patio tent, but it didn’t matter. There was so much love, a little water was worth it!

Afterwards, the few friends and family there just enjoyed being with each other, as the rain pulled away.

Thank you so much for having me you two! Take a look at all the beauty, and show them some love!
