There’s truly nothing better than a September wedding in Boston. This Alden Castle Wedding at was a favorite of mine for a few reasons. From the wonderful sweet couple, to their lovely families, it was such an honor to be there. You may remember Audrey and Stefan from their spectacular sunrise session last year, seen HERE. They were so much fun to be around, and I was really looking forward to their wedding day! I was also looking forward to seeing both of their families. I had been working closely with Audrey’s mother and step mother to plan, as Audrey and Stefan were living out of state. We began our day at Hotel Commonwealth for getting ready. I highly recommend this space for getting ready! It was a huge room, with lots of light, and great details! Not to be outdone, the groom’s room had some spectacular views of Fenway Park. We then headed to the Emerald Necklace for family photos. The bride’s mother and stepmother had found the perfect stone bridge to use as a backdrop for the formals, and the lighting at the time we were there was superb. Next was the beautiful ceremony at Church of Our Savior. It was a majestic church, with the light from the stained glass window streaming in, and at one point, landing on Audrey and Stefan. It also had a lovely spot next to the church for formals afterwards.
The venue was the spectacular Alden Castle in Brookline. It’s a stunning venue, with wonderful details and chandeliers. It had a gorgeous rooftop terrace, which was the perfect location for bridal party and bride and groom formals. The reception itself was held in the ballroom. It was a night filled with love, laughter, beauty, and dance!
Thanks so much for having me, Audrey and Stefan, and your families. It was truly a pleasure. Don’t forget to check out the slideshow at the bottom of this post!
