Thommy and Jen: In Love, in Photos | Rhode Island Wedding Photographer

Seeing a loving couple marry, and being there to capture those moments is special. Seeing two people you also consider friends marry is especially magical. When Thommy and Jen announced they were getting married, I couldn’t have been happier for them. They are two people who when you’re in their company, you can just feel their love and devotion for each other. When Jen was planning her wedding, and still unsure who would photograph her wedding, I offered my services for the big day. While some like to keep business out of family or friend functions, I couldn’t imagine anything but being able to provide amazing wedding photos for two amazing people.

Jen found a gem of a location for their first look and formals, Clouds Hill Victorian House Museum in Warwick. I had seen the sign often, but had never been there before. And what a location it was!

Here are the guys in the warm wood study. One of my favorite groomsmen shots to date!
Or is this my favorite one?!
This location has so many great places to shoot!
And finally, Jen arrives, and we set Thommy up on the Victorian patio for the first look. (First looks are a great way to get to spend some quiet moments together before the ceremony, and make for some beautiful reaction photos. See for yourself!)
After a few moments alone, we explored the grounds and captured some formals.
Are they fun, or what?!
The inside of the house offered some beautiful spots as well, including a gorgeous stairway, where I could finally do a fun stairway shot from above!
Swoon!
Finally, a few more shots from outside, before we head off to the venue!
The ceremony and reception took place at the West Valley Inn in West Warwick. This look from Thommy just shows you how happy he was to see his lovely bride arrive!
Jen did an amazing job with all the little details! From the flower bulb favors, to the wedding mad libs, to the fun ribbon wands! Great job, Jen!
Thommy nailed the dip during their first dance, don’t you think?
Jen was sure to say how important it was to have fun at her wedding, and have friends there to celebrate. Here are some of those amazing people!
And after a lovely dance with Jen and her dad, and Thommy and Jen’s mom, the dancing began!
Finally, before I left for the evening, the girls in the wedding party asked me for one last shot. Can you guess their inspiration?
Thank you again Thommy and Jen for having me there for the most special of days. You had a wedding filled with love, laughter, family, and good friends. I hope it was everything you dreamed it would be!
