Every so often you come across someone in this business who inspires you with their drive and determination to succeed. Colleen Alvarado of Colleen Elizabeth Makeup is one of these people for me. Colleen first contacted me last year to photograph a styled shoot she was putting together to promote her makeup work, and give her some great images for her portfolio. I was so pleased we were able to come together, and so far we’ve worked together on four shoots, each one with its own amazing makeup, hair, styling, and location. In addition to her great makeup, I had the pleasure of meeting and working with her friend and a great hair design artist, Amy of Amy Elizabeth Hair Design.
Colleen worked so hard to pull together these shoots, and I am proud to have been able to shoot for her. I can’t wait until our next collaboration.
