I loved this Warwick Country Club wedding! It was my first time photographing here, and it did not disappoint. From its amazing views, to the breeze rolling in off the water, to the cool outdoor seating areas for after wedding snacks and chatting. It really is a wonderful venue.

You may recognize my bride from this wedding [Click] It was her sister’s wedding, and I was thrilled to be asked to once again spend the day with their lovely family. There is no greater honor, also, than having siblings or other family members ask you to photograph their wedding. And I have been fortunate to photograph a few over the past few years!

The bride did an amazing job designing and implementing the beautiful nautical theme. From hand etched glasses, to the hand painted table number markers, to the overall colors used. It was so well done!

They had a custom backdrop made from old, weathered doors in the ceremony area. They not only perfectly framed the couple, but the opening in the middle allowed the gorgeous bay views to shine through.

On this gorgeous sunny day, these two exchanged vows in front of those they love most, and sealed it with an awesome dip and a kiss!

We then went inside, where the couple’s bridal party entered with pizzazz, we had some heartfelt and funny toasts, and during parent dances, the groom and his mom busted out some AWESOME dance moves! And as a treat for their guests, they had the Ben & Jerry’s ice cream truck come to the venue!

Sunset did not disappoint, and we were able to get some lovely shots by the water. But after it got dark, I looked up at the night sky, and saw how many stars there were. I asked the couple if they would be willing to join me for one last shot. I’m so thankful my couples are usually game, and trust that my goal is not only to cover the whole wedding honestly, and fully, but to also get them at least one extra amazing shot that they never even considered. This was one of those times. We ended up with an amazing shot that not only showed the beautiful starry sky, but also the Jamestown and Newport bridges. The couple ended up ordering one of my Metal Wall Art prints of one of the shots!

Thank you so much for having me, you two! Here are some of my favorites.
