A number of months ago, winter was in full swing, and I was getting the desire to do something creative. I knew I wanted to use some of my favorite fellow wedding professionals, along with some new ones I have been wanting to work with. I also wanted to be able to do this at Stone House, an amazing location in Little Compton Rhode Island, run by Newport Experience. It has this amazing blend of rustic exterior, and some beautiful modern details inside. You must check this place out, not only for a wedding or event, but even for a quiet weekend away.
The theme for the session was going to be a romantic bridal shoot, incorporating Pantone‘s two colors of the year, Serenity and Rose Quartz. Each year, Pantone releases a color, which will usually go on to inspire trends for the coming year or so. This year, they released two.
For the floral and table design, I reached out to the fantastic duo at Rustic Roots Design. I knew that they would run with it, and create something beautiful. And they did not disappoint! The gorgeous floral bouquet, table runner, and floral crown were perfection. And speaking of the tablescape, the table, chairs and wares from Stone House helped round it out, while the stationary suite by The White Invite was the perfect final touch!
For the model, I contacted RSVP Groups Model Agency, who provided the fabulous Cassandra! She was perfect for the designs created by Harper, from Seams Couture! Her fantastic bridal separates are romantic, yet still fresh and modern. To round out the look, Ali from Ali Lomazzo Beauty created the perfect soft undo!
We wandered the grounds, finding beautiful backdrop, after beautiful backdrop. This place is just stunning!
The icing on the cake, literally, was the cake and sweets provided by the uber talented A Piece of Cake! She created this magical soft watercolor inspired cake, with the perfect blend of color and texture.
I was so happy with how this photoshoot came together, and I cannot wait to photograph here again! Thank you so much to everyone involved!
